# Gyruss
port of Gyruss for Amiga
Credits:
- jotd: game reverse engineering, M6809/Z80 to 68000 conversion,
amiga graphics conversion, amiga sound effects
- roondar: audio mixing code (amiga version)
Requirements:
- OCS amiga with 1MB of memory
- fastram (recommended, but the game runs without, with degraded display)
If you have 2MB more sfx are available, in better quality
If you have fast ram, game enables the starfield
Controls:
- joystick left/right/up/down: move ship
- joystick fire: fire
To start a game (when game not running):
- insert coin: fire/5
- start game (1 player): up/1
- start game (2 players): down/2
Features:
- more sfx at a time than the original (thanks to audio mixing
routine)
- Better cheats than MAME (level select, invincibility)
Cheat keys:
- F1: complete level
- F3: add 10000 points
- F4: toggle invincibility

Works perfectly on A2000 (1meg. chip ram) with Vampire 500 v2+, also o on A500+8mb fast ram but GURU on A500+ with Wicher 508i (Kickstart 3.2 like in my other Amigas)

That's a great port! Thank you, JOTD. Running on my A4000/68060 only from ADF with Caches off. HD version freezes after start from HD.

probably difficult. Plus the music isn't integrated yet. Maybe a cut-down version would be possible.

Anyone with a bone stock PAL A500 1MB able to run the latest ADF? I cannot get it working, reboots in a loop.
