Instructions:
5/fire: insert coin
1/2/up/down: start game
arrows/joystick: move
red/ctrl: shoot
long press on red: launch grenade
blue/alt: launch grenade
Cheat keys:
F1: toggle invincibility
F2: skip level
Yes, the ECS version is really good, which allows me to make that game AGA only. Graphics are almost 1:1 vs the arcade. Exact 64 same colors are used.
Gameplay is 100%, with trainer, and all levels. Music is completed and is really awesome.
Runs okayish on A1200/020 no fast from HD (no whdload required) at 25 fps
Runs good at 50 fps if you have some fastmem
floppy available!
v1.01: a few fixes:
- screen is now centered (as horizontal scrolling is not needed after all)
- music fix

Hey there, Hope you don't mind, but just uploaded a longplay of the lastest release
Once again a clean conversion that is significantly better than the half-hearted official version released by Elite Systems in 1989. Our German-language review can be found at 02:44:10. English subtitles are also available. 🙂

you did a good job on this, thank you. I tempted to turn the volume down and play the music from the c64 while I play. to me thats the real music for commando :) It is running great on my vampire stand alone. thanks again
if anyone provides the .mod C64 style I'll make an effort to include it. In the meantime, let's just wait for IM76 recreation of the original arcade tune which is pretty good.
