A downloadable game

This CD32 bootable disc contains all my arcade ports gathered on a single disc

It runs on a bare CD32

- uses CD32load or whdload to start games without issues

- nice selection menu

Notes:

- if you already donated for most games, no need to donate again. This is a compilation. It was quite a lot of work making everything work on bare CD32 but CD32 is the ideal machine for all those games, as the controller has 2+ buttons, and some games require AGA but not fastmem.

- you really need a CD32 to enjoy the compilation, but there's a HDF version done by ransom1122 that I may add there at some point.

This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I am previewing a new CD compilation for the #Amiga CD32 - A bunch of accurate Arcade games from JOTD - Including Ms. Pac Man, Xevious, Phoenix and more!

Thanks for all your fun releases!

Bummer - NTSC CD32 here - But I am booting into PAL mode like I do with all of your games. Many do not launch at all (Including Donkey Kong) - and those that do seem to not start at all with the Joypad. No buttons allow the games to start, although the joypad is perfectly responsive when choosing a game from the initial launcher. I do have a TF 68030 accelerator with 128 MB of RAM in there - I suppose I will try it without it.
Anything I can try?

Just an Addendum.  I tried the ISO file on WinUAE emulating a CD32 (PAL) and have pretty much the same results.

Donkey Kong sticks on black screen with "1 UP" displayed. Galaxian you cannot see any sprites until they start moving, then they vanish. Ms. Pac Man and Pacman seem to load, but there is no button that starts the game. Phoenix does nothing but a black screen.  SO far none of the games work on my real or virtual hardware.

I had the same problem when I had the TCP/IP stack loaded on my A1200...

Good to know! I have heard TCPIP stacks can interfere with WHDLOAD. I tried this on a CD32 with and without my TerribleFire accelerator and on a virtual WinUAE session. No TCPIP stacks on any of those, so it must be something different

You're right! sorry about this. It seems that wrong image was uploaded. This was updated. Some games still are not working but most of them run and can be played.

I suggest you wait before trying it on WinUAE before wasting a CD. This isn't 100% yet.

Glad to hear I was not crazy! I will download the new one and check it out. Is this the best place to report issues we have?

yes, you can report there. I'll clean up when problems are sorted out

also good news ahead: Moon Patrol is now running, and PAL mode is forced so no need for early bootup. Released in a few.
