remake of US Championship V'ball for Amiga (AGA & ECS)
Requires a 2-button joystick, or the keyboard
Features:
- 25 FPS for ECS and AGA amigas
- 3 versions: ECS, AGA 64 colors, and AGA 128 colors.
Note:
You need a hard drive, whdload and some fast memory to run this game.
Credits:
- jotd: reverse-engineering, 68000 transcode, graphics conversion
sound conversion for the Amiga.
- no9: music (huge work on that one)
Instructions:
5: insert coin
1/2: start game
arrows/joystick: move
red/ctrl: fire
blue/alt: jump/build spike power
Fire also inserts coin during demo, up starts 1P game, down starts 2P game
new in v1.10:
- much faster graphical operation. Game frame rate is improved. 64 color users can try 128 colors version on their setup, it should run as the 64 color previous speed. I left the 1.01 old versions around to compare (or if there are new issues :))

it's great, but 2 player mode needs rework as it blinks like crazy (I know why!)

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I placed your awesome game in my top new games for September 2025.
I have an idea for a rather unique project, based on the arcade "Mario Bros" from 1983. For PCs as well as the Amiga. This would be more than a port, and if you're interested please let me know.
mmh no thanks. I'm running my personal arcade projects and not coding anything: "just" translating logic from one CPU to another.
Very nice and clean arcade conversion that already makes a good impression. The playability is great (however, so far with a fast turbo card only). Our German-language preview can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 02:51:56. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂

There is no executable file in this download version. It don't start, even with installed WHDLoad. Could you update, please?
it only runs using whdload. There's no icon, so it runs with command line ATM.

Thanks! That works. And it's playable, even if you need a fast Turbo Card. But it's fast enough with an 68060 with 50 Mhz. Good luck with the optimization. We'll definitely stay on top of things. 🙂
new version defaults to 25 fps and runs fine on any turbo card.
